The Grantsmanship Center

bulletTGCI was founded in 1972 to offer grantsmanship training and low-cost publications to nonprofit organizations and government agencies.   At first a local project in Los Angeles, TGCI expanded rapidly as word of its alumni's success spread across the United States.  Soon organizations in other cities asked to host TGCI training programs in their own communities.  By 1980, TGCI was national in scope, conducting more than 100 workshops every year.

The National Center for Non-Profit Boards

NCNB's governance consultants work directly with nonprofit leaders to provide customized training designed to meet an organization's needs. Each year NCNB conducts a National Leadership Forum, bringing together 500-600 board members and executives of nonprofit organizations. In 1995, NCNB launched its Global Program, an effort to strengthen the boards of nongovernmental organizations throughout the world through partnerships and capacity building.
